Script, Boards, and Reference for Basic Animation
In my stop-motion animation, I plan to show a character who takes a bite of a peach out of his hand. After he takes a bite of the peach, he sees there is a worm; freaked out, he throws the peach- which rolls and falls off the table (which it was resting on). The peach will be a 3D physical object, and the character will be drawn on a piece of paper. For the first part of the animation, I want to stage the peach on the left side of the screen and the character on the right side (the character’s full body won’t be seen, just portrait size along with his hand under the peach). Once the character "takes a bite" of the peach, the next frames will show a bit of the peach ripped off, revealing the inside of it. I will either use a pipe cleaner or a piece of paper to indicate a worm in the peach where the character took a bite. The character will throw the peach screen left, and the camera angle will adjust left (still looking down at the peach) as it rolls left across the screen. When the peach falls off the edge of the table, the camera will be on the ground a couple feet away from edge, diagonally positioned, and looking up. The camera I'm going to use is my phone, since the software I'm using will be the "Stop Motion Studio" app.
